Since 2010 Miriam Charmant is the chairwoman of RCHF.
Through the work of her daughter, she met Brian Douglas. As author and illustrator of children's books she felt drawn to the work of RCHF and she started working with RCHF soon after. Her 'Timmy Mouse' character is called 'Mr. Mouse' in Romania and is more than just a traveling mouse over there. He teaches the children about TB, colours, letters, animals and much more in an informative, creative and nice contemporary way, age apropriate for young children and connecting with the Romanian culture.
